Frequently Asked Questions

Which plan should I choose?
If you want to see every new business as it appears and you have your own way of working the list, take All Domains. If you want the part of that stream you can email today, take Email-Enriched. If you want the full picture and a contactable file to start on, take Combined.
What exactly is FeedLead?
A daily file of new business activity, delivered each morning. Each record is a newly registered business domain, with its registered country, the IP it currently resolves to and the hosting network that IP belongs to, an industry classification, and - on the email plans - an email address where one is available.
How fresh is the data?
New activity is detected within 24 hours of the registration signal and delivered to you the following day. That one-day step lets us absorb time-zone differences and late-arriving data, so what you receive is complete rather than partial.
What do I receive each day?
A file, or two on the Combined plan: the full daily stream of new business domains, and the email-enriched file of records that carry an email address. Both are comma-separated CSV with the same column layout, a CSV download in your account each morning and on the delivery API. Any saved subsets you have defined arrive next to them, rebuilt from that day’s file.
What are saved subsets?
Rules you define once in your subscriber account - by TLD, country, industry, NAICS code, quality grade, site status, mail provider, classification confidence or TLD quality, with exclusions for hosting networks and bulk-registration clusters - that FeedLead rebuilds with every future delivery. Each subset arrives as its own file next to your full files, with exactly the columns of the file it is cut from, and is listed on the delivery API. Subsets are included in every plan for the feeds the plan covers; you still receive the complete files.
Where do the email addresses come from?
Two places. Some arrive with the registration record itself. Others come from FeedLead’s own discovery as a new domain comes alive and publishes contact information. Both are cleaned through DeliveryTruth before delivery, and the file carries the current verification result for the primary address.
Are the emails validated?
Yes. Every delivered email is cleaned through DeliveryTruth, our own email validation system, before it reaches your file. Invalid addresses - mailbox rejected or bounced - are removed, and the file includes the current verification result for the primary address: verified (the mailbox was confirmed), catch_all (the server accepts any address, so the mailbox cannot be confirmed), no_mx (the domain has no mail server yet, common on day zero) or unverified (not yet confirmable). “Cleaned through DeliveryTruth” does not mean every row carries the literal status verified. A second or third address on the same record is delivered as found.
Are these named contacts?
No. These are organisation addresses - the address a business publishes or registered with - not a named person with a job title. At this stage of a business’s life that record does not exist anywhere yet, which is the trade for reaching them this early.
How does industry classification work?
Each record is given an industry classification inferred from the domain, with a confidence level attached, so a large daily file can be sorted and prioritised. It is not taken from a company filing - treat it as a strong hint rather than a verified fact.
Is every record classified?
No. Classification is included on every plan, but it is not assigned to every record. Some domains do not carry enough signal to classify confidently, and we would rather leave those blank than guess.
What geography is included?
The registered country comes with the registration signal and is reliable. The IP address and hosting network (ip_org) describe where the domain currently resolves - the network organisation behind that IP, not the registrar and not necessarily the business itself. State, county and city are also present but are inferred from the domain and carry a confidence level - use them to prioritise, not as a mailing address.
Is delivery daily?
Yes, every day, with the occasional gap when upstream data does not arrive - over the last month deliveries went out on 28 of 31 days. Daily volumes also move with registration activity, so the figures on the plans are typical recent days rather than guaranteed minimums.
What happens if a domain is not active yet?
Some will not be. You are seeing businesses days old, and a number have not finished setting up email or a website. That is the trade for being early. Many become reachable within a week or two, so those records are worth revisiting rather than discarding.
How much history do I get?
A rolling 30 days. Every delivery from the last 30 days - full files and your subset files - stays available in your account and through the API, so you can catch up if you miss a day or start part-way through a month. FeedLead is built around today’s delivery - the history is a convenience, not a searchable archive.
What is the API?
A delivery API, included with every plan from day one. It gives you authenticated access to the same files your account holds - the current delivery, your saved subsets and a rolling 30 days of previous deliveries - so you can pull delivery straight into your own systems. You generate a key from your subscriber account, where the full API documentation lives.
Is the API a lookup or search service?
No - it is a delivery API, not a lookup or search service. It delivers your daily files and nothing else: there is no per-domain lookup, no WHOIS service and no search across records. If you need to query one specific business, FeedLead is not the right tool.
Can I see real data before buying?
Yes, and we would rather you did. Ask for a real delivery and you receive a complete day’s file - today’s if it is ready, otherwise yesterday’s - with nothing removed and nothing selected to look good, plus three traceable marker rows we add to protect the data. A business email address is required.
What happens after I subscribe?
You get immediate access to your subscriber account, where the daily files appear each morning along with the last 30 days. You can generate an API key and define saved subsets there too. Your first delivery is the next one produced after you subscribe.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel at any time and you will keep access until the end of your billing period.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Switch to annual above to pay 20% less, and you can move between monthly and annual at any time.
Who is FeedLead best suited for?
Teams selling something a brand-new business needs immediately - the services a company buys in its first weeks - and who can work an email list at volume. The advantage is timing, so it suits teams that can act on a file the day it arrives.
Who is FeedLead not suited for?
If you need a named decision maker, a phone number or a verified postal address, this is the wrong product - that information does not exist this early. If you sell to large established companies, or need to research specific named accounts, a conventional prospecting database will serve you better. Some teams use both.

What’s inside these files

Two base files, the same column layout, comma-separated CSV with a header row. Rows sort A–Z, followed by names beginning with a digit. A saved subset has the columns of the file it is produced from.

Saved subsets - New-Business-Feed-<your subset>-<date>.csv - same columns as the file each one is cut from. Not every row carries every value: enrichment fields are filled where the signal exists and left blank where it does not.

Not sure yet? Look at the data first.

We will send a real day of FeedLead data - the complete file from an actual delivery day, not hand-picked examples - so you can judge the freshness, the email coverage and the classification for yourself before you pay for anything.
